Guys... if you hate the HIP FIRE reticle and want the reticle for when you aim (sniper rifles etc) just use this mod and then also get the Custom Reticle mod... which will override this mod when enabled.

For ALL you out there wanting to get more larger HD Gore textures and not all the other BS included with this mod read this. I will show you how to use Zippos textures and bump up the size of them to create more gore.

Here are some sample screenshots using my setup:

    http://acedev.net/files/hostimg/GTA5_zippo_rip3.jpg

    FIRST
    - Before installing Zippos Violence mod found on this page, make a COPY of your existing "SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods" folder and the "SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\scripts" folder to a separate safe place because we are going to be using it again.
    - Now delete everything in your "mods" folder
    - Now download Zippos Violence mod rar/zip file from this page.
    - Extract it.
    - Now run "OpenIV"
    - Now install all the packages as Zippo tells you to.
    - Now find the following files using OpenIV and extract them to some separate safe location:
    SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\effects\bloodfx.dat
    SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\effects\decals.dat
    SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures\fxdecal.ytd
    SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures\peddamagedecals.ytd
    SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures\frontend.ytd

Those are the files that make the blood/gore happen. We are also going to modify decals.dat a bit.
    - Now delete the "mods" folder and "scripts" folder
    - Now revert to your original existing "mods" and "scripts" folders by copying them back into the GTA V directory.
    - Now we are going to edit Zippos "decals.dat" file with a text editor

    1. Look for "BLOOD SPLATTERS" (line 17)
    2. Double the values in the "SIZE MULT" column (if it was 1.2, make it like 2.5!)
    3. Do the same for the "BLOOD DIRECTIONAL" (line 31), "BLOOD MIST" (line 45), and "BLOOD SPLATTERS" (line 84) sections
    4. Save the new "decals.dat" file

    - Now we are going to take Zippos blood/gore files and combine them with yours.
    - Using OpenIV, copy Zippos "bloodfx.dat" and the new "decals.dat" into the following folders:

    SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\effects\
    SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\common.rpf\data\effects\

    - Using OpenIV, copy Zippos "fxdecal.ytd", "peddamagedecals.ytd", and "frontend.ytd" into the following folders:

    C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\x64\textures\
    C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64a.rpf\textures\

    - Your done. Have fun.

P.S> I would release my own version of this mod but according to Zippos agreement its not allowed.

    - zDAN
