Many trees in lovely North Yankton are just super low quality greyish flat trees.
This mod removes those annoyingly ugly trees and replaces them with variety of trees.
- Mostly cedar trees are used. There are also many pine trees and some birch, oak and a few jacodas too.
- Almost all trees have different rotations and their sizes varies.
- The size of trees in groups are adjusted depending on how much sunlight they can get. The ones can get most sunlight will be taller and others which get less sunlight will be shorter.
- In residential areas where sunlight blocked by buildings, trees are also shorter.
- Goes really well with North Yankton forestry mods.

Fixed the dlcname in the Installation info. I was decided to make the dlc folder name better matching what the mod does but forgot to update the name for dlclist.xml in the Installation info. My apologies for missing it.

Merged NorthYanktonBetterTrees.ymap file with prologue01k.ymap .
Now the trees will only spawn when the North Yankton is enabled rather than being visible all the time.

@MissySnowie, how accurate this mod is, if compared to what trees grow in North Dakota?
@A_mbien_t I would say between 95-98%. Most of the trees are Cedar, then comes the Pines which are both snowy region trees. Though I added a bit of Birch trees here and there too as a variety and a few Oaks.
idk if i installed it wrong but the new trees aren't there. are there any known mod conflicts?
@ChavShrek I mean if you don't have a mod that overwrites my files, there wouldn't be any conflicts.
If you can't see the new trees, it means you either have another mod that has a file named NorthYanktonBetterTrees.ymap in it or you didn't install the mod correct.
Use OpenIV to search is there another ymap file with this same name. If you can't find any, it only means your installation wasn't correct. Because I added the new trees in this standalone ymap, the other ymaps inside prologue.rpf is only to remove the low quality flat trees.
Try installing again, if it doesn't work come to my Discord, I can help you out 😊😊
@MissySnowie turns out that the name of the dlclist.xml line in the readme isnt the correct one, so i fixed it by putting the dlc file name in the line instead
