Bunch of tools that allow you to edit "y"Files (gta V file types).
- Ymap mover: Offsets ymaps by a certian position and/or rotation.
- Ymap replacer: Replace's all archetypes with the matching name... also can add a offset and/or rotation to the replaced archetypes.
- Ymap merger: Merges 2 ymap files into one!
I will be adding more tools to it soon :)
If you think of anything you need let me know in the comments and I will give you my input.
Instructions
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ymap mover
1. File > Open Ymap
2. Set offset rotation, and position
3. Click Offset button then save the new ymap where you want.
Ymap Replacer
1. Type archetype replacing in textbox and the archetype replacing in the replacing textbox
2. If you want to add offset position/rotation click the checkbox
3. If you are adding offset position/rotaion to the replaced arechtypes fill that out correctly
4. Click Replace button and save the new ymap where you want.
Ymap merger
1. Open Ymap 1
2. Open Ymap 2
3. Click Merge button and save the new ymap where you want.

Hello! I have a problem with MapMover, it only move the "visual" map, but the collisions keep at the old place. What did i wrong?
@DarthPungz @skylumz Does the ymap mover work when trying to move a map editor map with 2000 props? I am trying to move a yacht with many props and it only flips the boat prop upsidedown on the same location turned 90 degrees.
@racingfreddie last time I tried to use this mod it did not work for me. I think Skyline has been busy with real-life and hasn't been very active with GTA modding.

can i turn ymaps in to xml files

Not working very well. Only works with some .ymap files. But with some files the Ymap mover says ERROR "please enter numbers not letters".
With Ymap Merger I cant do anything. It just crashes.

hey this seems like a really good tool! I want to move on of the map mods installed in my game (GTA SA San Fierro + Las Venturas) so that San Fierro is on the West Coast and Las Venturas is still on the East Coast, then I’ll be making some mountain ranges mod for inbetween. before this mod I was changing all the placement values individually. im thanking god for you making this mod hopefully it is working for when i try it later
How to calculate offset to rotate?
