@ShartedTuna It's something with this mod. Because my other mods I've installed as per the mods' instrutions have worked fine. But every time I try to install this mod as per the the 'instructions' on this mod's page, I get CTD upon load of the game and have to restore my old update.rpf. I haven't gotten any solutions from the mod creator either. I have tried every thing they've told me and none of it's worked. I just get CTD. Every. Single. Time.
@GooD-NTS Some mods work, some don't. For example, I have been trying for three days now to get the wpack vehicle mod working, and every time I try to follow the 'instructions' on that mod's page, the game will flip a fit and refuse to load, so I have to redo my entire mods folder. But the carmageddon mod works fine. I just don't freaking understand what the deal is, and the maker of the wpack mod hasn't given me any helpful answers. So I have no idea what's at fault. But considering other mods work with OpenIV, I'm going to guess something is wrong with wpack.
@Pedge So I'm not too stupid to use this? Because let me tell you, I have been driven up the wall with this happy horse shit. I have been trying to get the simplest effing mods to work, and nothing but scripts even functions. As far as I can tell, this program does absolutely nothing but eat up more of my hard drive space for no reason at all, and none of the mods that rely on it that I have tried to install freaking work. I am not new to modding, and while I don't claim to be some freaking expert in modding, I will say the process for modding this god forsaken game is ridiculous.
If anyone can tell me why this program isn't working, or what the freaking deal is, I'd be very appreciative. Like you, I'm on the steam version, and have looked everywhere for help. I have done everything the 'instructions' for my mods have asked, and not one of them except the script mods work. And in the case of some mods, I use the word 'instructions' very loosely. Makes me feel slightly better I'm not the only one with this headache,but it doesn't solve the problem.

What do you mean by 'proper mounted'? I have followed your instructions to the letter. I'm new to modding GTA,, but not modding games in general, and frankly the way modding is done with this game is kind of ridiculous to me. I just need to understand what I'm doing wrong so I can do it right and not continue to screw up.

When I try to spawn one of these vehicles, //nothing happens//. It is not the spawner script because it spawns literally EVERYTHING ELSE fine. So please. Help me understand why this refuses to work.
