Great, now killing people isn't worth it anymore. I lose $0.25 on every dollar they drop. Thanks Canada.
@bdking00 This is looking good. I can't wait to see it expanded further. It would be nice if you can target people without having to be in melee. I know the code is in the game, as the feature is there for when the user uses Chop.
Very cool. If you are looking to expand this mod or make a new one, I would love to have a map that lets you locate all the various collectible things, like alien parts, letters, etc. It would save me a lot of time from having to jump back and forth from a guide.
I have been having a lot of fun with this mod. My only complaint is that it seems to make the vehicle completely invincible forever. Is there a chance that you could disable that when you are out of the vehicle or add a key to toggle it on and off?
When I saw "Realistic Bullet Damage" I thought this is going to be mod based on real life, or the title was completely sarcastic. I am disappoint to see it isn't realistic and wasn't sarcastic. As a ER doctor and former EMT, I can say this is not realistic at all. Plenty of people have been shot and are quite alive today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tkMYoOLAhk
Here is a realistic list.
1. The head is most likely fatal, but still quite survivable. The spinal cord is a one-hit thing.
2. The neck is 50/50. Lots of vitals, but still plenty of places for a bullet to miss. Most can be repaired. Spine there would cause paralysis.
3. Chest is mostly muscle and bone, and a bullet will likely hit that. The lungs are survival for the most part. The heart most likely fatal.
4. The abdomen has plenty of vital organs, but most are survivable.
5. Limbs are almost never fatal. Even if you use a mini gun to mow up and down them.
I like this mod a lot. I have a few suggestions though. 1. Move the menu to either the left of right side. Having right in the middle of the screen is not useful. 2. Change the menu key. Insert conflicts with way too many other mods. 3. Spawning 10 peds with weapons tends to end with them all killing each other. It would be nice if you could team them up. 4. Have the option to spawn them a little further away and/or apart.
Very nice mod. The only trouble I have seen is some of the police AI tends to be far stupider with the mod enabled. I am sure that is a Rockstar issue, but watching them drive off cliffs is still fun to see. I would love if some of the suspect IDing required the police to be at a closer distance. For example, a helicopter IDed my person in a different car from a long distance. They may have a bird's eye view, but picking out a face like that is not realistic. It would also be nice for them to have a limited number of helicopters, or stop sending them after it is clear I can shoot them down.
I like this mod, but I have a few suggestions, if possible. 1. It would be nice if the people who are clearly dead (shot) can't be saved, and the ones most likely knocked out can be. 2. The people who come back to life, should get in the ambulance and leave with the crew. Makes a little more sense. 3. Dead peds should also mean the cops show up.
I like where this mod is going, but I'm having a few problems. On the yacht there is a marker that just spawns me back in the same spot. I don't know where this is supposed to go. Also when this mod is used, I have a lot of trouble with models and textures loading. Some load only when I stand next to them, some never load. The models the don't load seem to be props. On top of that some textures are flashing. Also, when I get near the yacht I get weird solid color blocks rendering around it. I have tested without any mods, and with only your mod, and only happens when your mod is active.
Good mod, though I feel like the reactions should be a bit different. When you disarm a cop, it doesn't make sense for them to cower. They should either go for cover, recover a weapon, fight melee, or just head for the hills. The hands up surrender is good, only if you have a weapon activity focused on them. Other people probably should just run.
