Designed and initially produced by McDonnell Douglas, the Super Hornet first flew in 1995.
Low-rate production began in early 1997 with full-rate production starting in September 1997, after the merger of McDonnell Douglas and Boeing the previous month.
The Super Hornet entered service with the United States Navy in 2001, replacing the Grumman F-14 Tomcat, which was retired in 2006;

Is it possible to make more weapons available for this mod? I tried to add AIM-120 as a third weapon by editing the handling file but I found that only two types of weapons can be used in the game. However, if I use another mod from BF4, I can use two missiles and the cannon, so I figured that this has something to do with the 3D files.

@Voltrock your model is great, but I'm having trouble with the install. I can't find the file dlclist.xml, much less all the update and update.rpf. I've re- downloaded the file about three times now, and it is still messed up. any suggestions?
