Do you have a crappy PC or struggle with performance issues for GTA V? If you do, this mod is for you. With this installed, your game will unload a bunch of junk. Boosting the performance of your PC.

How It Works:
Unload Items = Performance Boost
-This removes fragments, trash, and some plant life
-This reduces lag in the game

@OmegaKingMods can you add the path for each folder/file for manual install/uninstall ? i made a video for it but no it donsen improve the performance, and in your back up you have yor displayname
But How Do I Uninstall This Mod...... If I Remove Openiv.ASI it gives me a error called game corrupt Please I Dont want to reinstall the game and download all updates again pls

Great mod but I removed half of the star because of no video.
Lag is pretty much fixed but major sound stutter how to fix it? :(
Maybe I need to not use the speed loader with this mod?
how about everyone just turn off open background programs and close other programs that using resources... IDK wtf this is but there are other programs that do this, even other mods on this website.. like search FPS booster or something under tools section

Works perfectly.
This mod basically empties (stops the spawning of things in) the 'procedural.meta' file located:
update\update.rpf\common\data\materials\procedural.meta
Backup 'procedural.meta' (or your whole update.rpf) before install & you will be safe to return to what you had if you don't like the changes. This is the safest way to backup because it allows you to save any previous changes that you (or a mod) may have made to 'procedural.meta' rather than returning to a default 'procedural.meta' which I presume is included in the 'Backup.oiv' in the download.
Note: You can use 7zip http://www.7-zip.org/download.html to extract ANY .oiv file & install manually/look at the files. Once extracted using 7zip the 'assembly.xml' file you find will tell you what & where things will be installed.
Back to 'procedural.meta'. Using OpenIV/extracting file & using Notepad++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.5.1.html you can see what sort of things it contains. It's basically small rocks, small bushes, scrap pieces of paper/rubbish, some small seaweed, starfishes, small sea life, some corals, small weeds etc. You will not notice ANY difference to the visuals flying or driving & are only likely to miss small things on foot if you previously spent your time in GTA V picking flowers or stroking starfish. I couldn't notice any real difference to the overall visuals.
Frames per second increase will depend on your hardware but installing this has allowed me (i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz, GTX 1080 & 6GB of 1600Mhz DDR3 with Photovision https://scrat-tech.fr/modding-gta-v/photovision-gta-v-english/ installed) to run a smooth 60fps (occasional brief dips to ~56fps in certain areas (Eclipse Boulevard)) at 4K DSR, generally Very High Settings elsewhere & no AA/Advanced Graphics settings used. That's about a 14fps increase to what I had before (~46fps with dips to ~38fps). I'm very happy.
I only have a 1080p monitor so running 4K DSR is overkill but I can now run 8x MSAA instead of 4x at 1080p & keep a steady 60fps with occasional small dips. I've spent a lot of time over the course of the last year optimising GTA V so results may vary but I reckon this mod is definitely worth trying.
It should be noted however that the 'procedural.meta' installed with this mod has a parsing/syntax error in it & should actually look like this inside the 'procedural.meta' file to be correct:

Sadly this have no effect on my game. I was hoping for some extra fps but I guess this mod work better on low end systems, on more high end systems it dont seem to do much.
@Remo You have to create a new mods folder and move all your dlcs over to it.
