really cool mod, can we have an option on an .ini file or ingame to change the maximum cars from 10 to whatever we want?
@zaur9002 Thank you, yes it will be included in the next update.
@Naruslayer also you might have to fix the markers because mine spawns on top of franklin's house rather than the garage. but yeah overall 9/10 mod needs some fixes
It's very easy to use and very useful. Thank you. I think it would be better if it wasn't divided by character.
@zaur9002 I'll fix that for the next update which shouldn't be long in coming.
@wataridoll Thank you for your feedback! 🙏
I will keep the current character-specific garages (Michael, Franklin, Trevor) because I like the idea of each character having their own space.
But I plan to add one shared garage in a future update, so you will be able to store vehicles that are accessible by all characters.
@Naruslayer Hello bro, could you please make a garage script like SPG? Because SPGR is really hard to use, and it also requires Enable MP MAPS, thanks a lot
fyi all: rename new update file to "garagesaver" & ini works fine.
but in game all non english so i had to guess the menu
@kyphius I know, I'm working on the translation. It will be ready for the next update.
@Naruslayer hey! great mod. but I'm currently having it crash whenever I try to save any car to my garage, communal or character specific. I suspect it has to do with ScriptHookDotNet2, since I receive a message that your script is using it but it's deprecated. any suggestions?
@traceurevans Hey! Thanks for the kind words 🙏
GarageSaver is built for ScriptHookVDotNet v2 (SHVDN2). If it crashes when you hit Save, it’s almost always a runtime/setup issue. Quick checklist:
Have SHVDN2 installed (alongside v3 is fine).
In your GTA V root you should have:
ScriptHookVDotNet.asi
ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll (the v2 runtime)
(optional) ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll if you also use v3 scripts
If ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll is missing, v2 scripts can load weirdly or crash.
@Naruslayer hey! thanks for the quick response man!
yeah, I do check out all those items in the list haha what I think the issue is, that I forgot to mention is that I'm running Enhanced. any plans on making your mod compatible?
I honestly didn't realize there was a version difference until most of the mods I've downloaded were not working or throwing errors left and right lol. didn't check any gtav news for a while so I had no clue they were making a literal another game version.
anyways, regardless of your answer, I've used your mod before and I loved it. great work so far <3
@traceurevans Hi! Thanks for clarifying that, everything is clear now.
For the moment, GarageSaver is only officially supported on the classic PC version of GTA V.
I don't have access to the Enhanced version to test or debug it, so I can't guarantee its compatibility yet.
Once I can properly test the Enhanced version (or when SHVDN2/SHV support is 100% stable), I will work on making GarageSaver fully compatible.
For now, if you want to use it without crashing, I recommend switching back to the standard version of the game.
Thanks again, I'm really glad you enjoyed the mod.
@Naruslayer heyo! no problem man, thanks for clearing that up. I play it every once in a while anyway, so I'll keep your mod saved and keep an eye out for any updates to it. thanks for the responses!
@traceurevans
Works great with the Enhanced Edition of the game. No errors or crashes. You just have to make sure you're using Script Hook V .Net Enhanced, not the Community Script Hook V .NET.

@Naruslayer
By the way, I have a question: after spawning a car from the garage, is the slot supposed to clear or not? For me, the slot doesn't clear, and I can spawn a duplicate of the car.
@AntonivkA Normally, the space should not be freed up, but if the car has already been taken out, it should disappear from the world and appear as if you took it out of the garage and did not duplicate it. I will check this and fix the issue in the next update.
Good question!
By design, the slot does not clear after spawning. The garage is persistent: you can pull a car out and later bring it back or respawn it if you lost it.
Also, you shouldn’t get dupes: the mod checks the license plate. If a car with the same plate is already in the world, the mod should teleport that car back to the garage point instead of creating a new one.
If you’re seeing duplicates, it usually means:
another mod/trainer changes the plate text when spawning, or
the plate is blank/invalid, or
the game deleted the original car (despawn/clean-up) before the check ran.
Quick checks
After you spawn from the garage, look at the exact plate text.
If you spawn again and get a second copy, compare both plates. If they differ, something changed the plate.
Make sure you’re on SHVDN2 with .NET 4.8 and that scripts/GarageSaverVehicles.ini has the Plate= value for that slot.
@Naruslayer
Well, I have the Rampage Trainer installed, but nothing is enabled by default. I only use it occasionally to check something or to teleport, so I don't think Rampage Trainer is conflicting with the garage mod.
The car cloning happened in Franklin's garage; I haven't tested the others yet.
I also noticed something else. I completed a race and got a muscle car as a reward—the name has something to do with a burger. Anyway, I put that car into Franklin's garage, but when I later drove to the impound lot, that same car was there, along with another car that was also in the garage.
@Naruslayer
Ah, I understand what the problem is!
In Rampage Trainer, I had enabled the option to display the speedometer on the license plates. Although I stopped using that feature, the plates still retained the overlay showing the kilometers/hour.
So, one car now has a license plate variable of Plate = 25 KMH, another has Plate = 0 KMH, while the cars that never had the speedometer enabled on their plate still have a normal variable with a unique license plate, for example, Plate = 29LSL637."
Thanks for the hint about the 'Plate' variable!
