Glad to see Lua still being used! Can you share why you chose Lua and not C++/C#?

I think this is a great concept and appreciate the hardcore point of view. Mods that change the core nature of game-play outside of the silly and fun are also an art and fun in their own way. I think Dead Is Dead is great example of simplicity and consequence--helping champion the hard-core gamer. Rock on!

As a side note, I too created a mod with the idea of making the game harder. In my case I used Dark Souls 1 as my core inspiration, along with the fact that cops/army are your only true recourse for murder. I wanted to change that by adding higher consequences for each death along with new core game-play.
