I have planned to buy the 1988 version of this car after the quarantine finishes. I have saved up money for this classic beauty and now its in GTA 5. You are amazing!
Nice add-on and all, but I’d like to install this in my FiveM server. I’d rather not install it if I can’t use its headlights properly. Where is the recommended location to install the headlight script file in a FiveM server directory? 🤔
I wonder why my rating for this mod got removed...but whatever! rated this 5 stars again!
Great work, thanks for your mod :)
Looks awesome. Anyone got info on how to replace ruiner with this one?
About time we get amazing looking third gens in GTA! I have an 88 Trans Am and mine has the same diamond spoke wheels as the GTA, only their black instead of gold. So I was curious if you could add a way to change the color of the stock wheels? Other than that this mod is flawless in my opinion!
this would be even better with the popup lights sorted out its a great mod other than that, will the lights be changed to work like vanilla popups.
@Daggs02 Hi! Just replace the texture "rgba9f6c35ff" in the ytd file with a black texture. Make sure to name that black texture as "rgba9f6c35ff" for it to work properly ingame.
@keirona I am aware that the vanilla popups can be used for this one but upon trying it, the angle of the popups was not correct and will cause clipping of the popups to the body of the car. It seems that the popups for this particular car is facing away from the car when opened. It can only be fixed with a script that would allow it to operate how it should in real life. Also, the popups script works as well with other mods like the '68 Camaro Pack by GreenAid (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/1968-chevrolet-camaro-pack-add-on-lods-extras-template)
@OhiOcinu So, right now i have replaced the ruiner with this skin, and you did an amazing job with the mod, but the only problem is the lights sit too low on the car (like the firebird87_hi file shows.) I'm just thinking to fix this i can actually script the headlights on the ruiner - which is the firebird now - to do this... So i was just wondering if you know where to put the popup script. Like the file says "copy into scripts folders," but I can't find it anywhere.
@Karsty Just make a scripts folder in your main gta v directory and then import the script there.
@OhiOcinu Do i have to change file name to ruiner in the script then?
@OhiOcinu Nevermind man I got it! So excited that it works... And once again, phenomenal mod man!
man awesome mod can you help me with the firebird hood decal ? how to install the firebird hood decal
very awesome but i still need kitt of 1986 pontiac firebird trans am with addon on it cause i dont want to replace it to ruiner
I want this taillight on the KITT V.7 from here. Is this possible? Love this Trans Am! Thank you
Hi I love your mod is it tunable?
Great mod but can't get the pop ups to work. Made a scripts folder in the gtav directory and put the popups.cs file in but no change, headlights are still pointing towards the ground.
nvm it's working now, something about scripthook.net was wrong, reinstallation fixed it
If someone faces problems with script of headlights, it is possible to raise headlights manually by opening rear doors using a trainer.
