-Muzzle Flash is misaligned due to longer barrel than vanilla Carbine Rifle (Unfixable? If anyone has any ideas, let me know! Obviously moving the node/bone won't work because the animations overwrite it)
-Bolt is bit misaligned in First Person, Rockstar's Issue with animations, it's fine in third person

Will be updated in the future after I release a modified variant
1.No longer using GTA IV model, GTA V model as base with parts from IV - this means much more quality, old version will still be available to download but unsupported

I followed the installation instructions (moving the YDR and YTD files into patchday8ng) yet the gun refuses to show in-game, it shows up in the model viewer however.
Update: So after combing through my mods folder I realized I had another mod which ended up adding the patchday8ng again and was overriding the one I made, the weapon works now. Great mod, imo a must have.
Ejection port does NOT open when firering, otherwise this is a great mod
pog, best weapon replacer around.
The Carbine Rifle is made by Vom Feur tho
@HeySlickThatsMe have you ever considered including an optional short barrel version so that muzzle flash works properly?

This is exactly what the carbine rifle should have looked like.
Update report:
-New model is almost done, gonna put it in game soon
-Next version will be fully addon, barrel will be long again just like GTA IV, model will be higher quality and fully animated, planning on some new attachments as well
@HeySlickThatsMe maybe use the Max Payne 3 M4? It looks a little different
btw this mod rocks
@KSRfluffyboi Max Payne 3 M4 has 128x128 textures so it's unusuable, and the model isn't that much different from IV
I did finish the new model anyway, although it still needs some tweaks and such
