Background:
Timur (Russian: Тимур) is a main character and the tertiary antagonist of The Ballad of Gay Tony. He is the personal bodyguard, right-hand man and best friend of Ray Bulgarin. Timur assisted Luis Fernando Lopez in certain missions given to him by Ray.
Timur is Ray Bulgarin's right hand man and despite his violent and pragmatic demeanour, Timur is eternally loyal and obedient to his boss. Timur is a skilled guitarist, and he and Ray often play rock music together in their spare time. Timur's over-serious attitude, however, annoyed Luis who instantly disliked Timur and to some extent, Ray.
In the Departure Time mission, Luis heads to Funland where Bulgarin's men are supervising a heroin shipment. He destroys the heroin and kills the men. Soon after, Timur arrives, telling Luis that he is too late to catch Bulgarin as he is at the airport ready to leave in his Blue Ghawar jet. Despite his efforts, Timur is killed by Luis.

I always thought he was a unique character who adds that level of immersion to the story as he must have had a rough backstory working with Bulgarin over the years. He seemed almost like he might be a shell of a man he once was as this life of crime changed him, and it was all he knew how to do at this point in time during the missions with Luis Lopez. Honestly something Luis might have become if he continued to work with Mr. Bulgarin as a hitman or contract killer.
This model conversion is one of many story characters to come, as I wish to port more from the world of GTA IV. Whether they be alive or dead characters, I just want to have the possibility of seeing them live in Los Santos for a change in scenery!

Installation:
add the 4 files "ig_timur" to the addon peds pack.
follow this route: Grand Theft Auto V \ mods \ update \ x64 \ dlcpacks \ addonpeds \ dlc.rpf \ peds.rpf \
or you can also install it as a replace by renaming the ped to what you want!
Ex: changing the name "ig_timur" to "ig_barry" and replacing that model.
For installing the voice file, place the file in this location in your mods folder:
mods - x64 - audio - sfx - S_MISC.rpf
For assigning the voice to play automatically for the model upon switching to him, open up and add the lines provided in the "peds.ymt example text" folder for the peds.ymt file located in the path below if your experienced in modding. Otherwise please only use the addon peds mod which will mean you have to set his voice to simeon manually via a trainer in game:
mods - update - update.rpf - x64 - data

Question- the installation process with Dimitri, Faustin, Bulgarin you could just drop the files into the component peds IG file. Is it possible to do that with Timur here? I'm just wondering why the different installation process, is there a cap on how many you can add to it or something? Excellent work! love his model
@Dimitri_Rascalov So the reason its different installation from the others is because of the voice file. That's really the only reason it is setup differently from Dimitri and Bulgarin's installation. I had to edit the audio setting file itself to allow for the models to use the correct voices I assigned for them. Timur here just simply uses Simeons voice and therefore it didn't require me to have to edit the game.dat.151 file that I normally would have to. Faustin and Illyena didn't have voice lines for their characters in GTA IV and so I simply made them just addon peds and that was it. If you wanted to just replace or add in the Timur ped with the addon peds mod then you could do that and then just replace the Simeon Yetarian voice file in openiv and then set the characters voice ingame to his with a trainer and that could work. Thanks btw!!!

@SECTIS I plan to bring them to GTA V when I start the Puerto Rican story peds. Right now I am finishing the Russians, then I move onto Jamaicans, and then Italians. Afterwards I can do that though!

@st48301245 Hey! So, this model I believe should have it, but it won't be perfect as I am not too good at editing that type of stuff yet. Like there have been no tutorials that I have found online for helping me learn more about it, but yes this model should at least have blood appear when being shot.

@st48301245 Yeah it's not gonna be GTA V style quality lol. There's also not a file to edit. I use 3ds max for these character ports, and it's a modifier (uvw wrap) I apply to the model when rigging it. If I didn't use 3ds max then it wouldn't appear at all as I just don't know enough about the topic.
