Whenever you have a waypoint set, it helps you navigate by enabling blinkers when approaching an intersection, showing you where you need to go, just like in Brütal Legend or The Getaway. Allows for a more immersive gameplay, with HUD disabled, for example. Yes, it's a bit glitchy, but actually just as glitchy as that little arrow in the corner or the minimap is, if you look closely. Sadly, it only works with the manual waypoint. Originally requested by me, but also by a lot of players all over the internet, and finally implemented by @aimless, then slightly edited by me again.
Update 2.0
Now it allows you to manually control your blinkers if you don't have a waypoint. In theory it should let you do that even if you do have it and only kick in once when approaching another junction, but oh well, I'm not a scripter after all, don't put the blame on me.
Update 2.1
When commenting out the unneeded line I totally forgot that it also affected the closing brackets and made the script uncompilable. Hotfixed.

@Claude_Lib You should create a threshold, as of now even if you turn a tiny bit, the signal is on, and that's shit. It should only activate at X percentage of the steering for controllers. Create a keyboard file and a controller file, with threshold for controller.
I still use this despite FPS drop
good idea
@Grandcentury hi how much fps drop?
@xxx78 If waypoint is not activated, nothing will change.
When it activated, my fps drops 10-20.
So I'm currently not using this... I still like this mod though
@Grandcentury aha, too bad, I liked the mod, anyway thanks for the information. Im trying to put together a large pack of mods for myself, and I need to avoid fps draining mod, so thanks again for the info.
could you please make a mod where you can track your cars by putting a marker so you can see it on the map? (like single player garage)
Such a great mod. It's so nice that you dont have to turn on does god damn turnsignals on yourself every time. This is much easier. I'm Lovin it so far. And remember the file goes into the scripts folder ;)
@Claude_Lib, do I simply copy the file to scripts, or scripts/ addins?
@thegore300 Into the /scripts/ folder, without going any deeper.
where do i put .cs
were did u the nissan skyline @Claude_Lib
@Claude_Lib Dude, put a threshold on the blinking. It stays on when we're not steering.
@The_XXI Dunno about you, but where I live we usually turn blinkers when approaching the intersection, before we actually make a turn. Furthermore, it's the mod's main purpose, to tell you where you should turn. Technically it's easy to make the script check whether I'm driving straight or making a turn, but I honestly see no reason to do so.
@Claude_Lib What you failed to get, is that the signal does stay on whether I'm full stop or not, whether I go straight or not, whether I already turned or not.
Dunno about you, but I don't forget to turn off my signal when I finished my turn. You rushed your script, you didn't think of everything, and you admit you're lazy. I won't bother you anymore, since you clearly don't give any fuck. Cheers and good luck.
@The_XXI So what you were saying is that the turnlights keep blinking >after< you've made a turn? Well, maybe that's because you're already approaching the next intersection you'll have to make a turn at? Really, I see no other reason this could be happening. And yeah, I really am lazy, I actually did rush my script, but I did it for myself and I'm pretty much satisfied with the result. Are you not? Well, it's open source, you can always modify it to your own liking yourself.
what should i press to manually control my blinkers?
I like this but can't work out manual controls
@aimless @Claude_Lib I haven't downloaded this mod yet but, I will momentarily. I'm just making a brief comment here first before downloading to sort of make a suggestion....it would be nice to post an actual video showing your mod at work alongside the pics there like some other modders have done in here that way people can see how this mod works "in-game". Anyways, I'll do a second comment on this once I download this mod and test it, plus I'll also give my rating as well btw.
@Claude_Lib This is the most amazing the mod! Love it
