Now everytime you shoot a gang member from up close, they will remember you for a timeframe determined by yourself in the ini, it's a week by default
They will not remember you if you snipe them, for example, the mod only works at a range set in the ini (by default 25 meters) gives you a reason to stay out of sight by climbing up a building and using that sniper rifle when you want to mess with gangs.
Once you kill a gang member while been within the set range, they will notice your presence and reinforcements will be called, a vehicle from the gang filled with 4 members will arrive and shoot at you.
It's compatible with story mode or mods that create gang members as mission peds (Like the ballas mission with lamar, JavelinV or the gang by Dealien) which means, gangs will remember you after you finish that mission or after you kill a gang member in JavelinV/The Gang
If a gang remembers you, the gang members will try to fight you on sight, the gang will also send hit squads towards you on your daily basis until the beef is over.
Mix it up with my mod "the homies" and with the "JavelinV" gang contracts for some real hood action, you can find both mods on my profile.

3.1 HOTFIX

-This increases compatibility with any mod that uses the actual game gang relationship groups and prevents the peds that are spawned in this mod from shooting peds spawned by other mod (most of the time)

-Removed the armenians backup and hits, since they had the same issue as the madrazos, but couldn't be fixed the same way, if it's not done right, I'd rather not have it, non negotiable, use a prior version if you want that feature.
-Gang backup will not arrive during missions, they will instead arrive when the missions end
-Gang hits will not arrive during missions, they will instead arrive when the missions end

STEALTH UPDATE/SMALL FIX
-Changed the way a beef is obtained a member of another gang needs to SEE YOU kill one of them for a beef to be acquired.
-Fixed the range in the ini not doing nothing (It was always set to 25 meters) it was a small oversight I just noticed now.
HOSTILITY FIX:
-Hostility stopped working after last update, it's fixed now.
TO DO LIST:
-Add more variety to the text messages
-Add more variety to vehicles in the reinforcements and forecoming drive by feature.
TIPS:
-You can have an infinite fight with gang members now with the reinforcements feature, if you keep killing them they keep coming.
-If you don't want to keep fighting you have to leave and make sure the reinforcements are not following you.
-If you want to set any character beef to true in the ini, you need to set the whole gang to be in beef mode
-The beef timer restarts every time you damage a gang member of the gang you're beefing with, and with a default time of a game week, you'll have to play a lot of golf and a lot of tenis and do a lot of running away for that beef to be squashed.
BUGS (or lack of feature)
-If you're beefing with a gang and you quit the game, when you come back, you'll be beefing with them still, but the timer will begin from the start, meaning, it's 6 hours all over again homie.
-Gang peds spawned in missions don't play nice with gang peds spawned by the mod, usually, this is because Rockstar didn't assigned them a gang pedtype, instead they are mission peds, and gang peds outside missions don't consider them their allies.
-The peds spawned by the mod "THE BEEF" are gang members (script wise) if they shoot gang members of the same gang from other mod, it's because their creators are cutting corners and instead of assigning the peds the "fightagainst" task, they are assigning them the "hate player" relationship (which is not friendly with gangs), if you run into that issue, go bother other creators, I'm doing it right, they are doing it wrong.

Its a good idea in therory but in action it sucks.
Having enemies constantly harass you while there being no permanent removal around.. I can't call the gang or like call a hit to get it to stop. Doesn't even have to be physical stuff.. just basic call them and remove the beef.

@Anon6932 Don't make changes while in game, make changes with the game closed, and they will remain.
Also that setting is to decide if franklin (who is a former family member) beefs with the families in the case of you messing with them.
But it is a good Idea to exclude gangs, will consider for a next update.

@johnny appleseed Not a bug, skill issue.
Now jokes aside, I don't disable the gang reinforcements when the player dies, only if he goes away, nevertheless, it's a fix that will happen, for now, don't die near a hospital.

@Skylash777 Gangs don't spawn in missions.
They do however spawn if you fail a mission and the timer for them to spawn is over.
This happens because when you fail, the game goes from "on a mission" to "not on a mission" and the mod allows itself to spawn the hits when the game is in a "not on a mission" state.
Can't do much to fix it, either way, it's not that big of a problem, I've done storymode a thousand times with this installed, just deal with it.

@Go1ngP0stal Fixed the redneck gang and families issue, not sure about what might cause the lost member problem, but will look into it, I know that happens during a spawn, but, I've considered that it's not this mod, it's my "IV style Ko mod" check out if you use it.

@esreveRReverse It doesn't suck in action, specially when you can disable the harassing in the ini.
here's the secret, change this:
ENABLEHOSTILITY = true
to
ENABLEHOSTILITY = false
you also don't like being attacked by random cars in freeroam?
change:
ENABLEGANGHITS = true
to
ENABLEGANGHITS = false
you get the point
you can also reduce the time it takes for a beef to end in:
TIME = 4320000
this is calculated in miliseconds, right now it takes a gang about 72 minutes to forget you, do the math, and make it what you want.
You can ask for stuff before complaining, or you can read the description to find out the mod's features, I'm here to help anyway.

@thalilmythos Bro, i love your mods! Beef, Convoys, Drug Jobs, Getaway and Javelin simply don't permit you to get bored, endless hours of gameplay....
Any possibility to adjust the gang members accuracy and Lock-on distance? Even under cover, doing blind shots(only exposing the gun to shot) they hit you. And the drive-by distance is unreal, you can't even see the car(sometimes they open fire way before turn in the corner)... Ah, and maybe give more time between reinforcements, not much but you can't even have time to collect the money.
I love call a Javelin contract just to start a little guerrilla, specially when i can pull the fight untill other gang area. A warzone with Fam, Vagos, Ballas and me, just pouring more gasoline to the fire....4 днів назад -

Hey I'm running a handful of your mods i tested they work perfect!! I got latest everything (native ui, scrithook ,etc) but for some reason im getting warning n my vdotnet .log

don't know what else could be causing the warning . only other mod showing up as a waring is native ui.
I am using lemonui for some other mods idk if that can be interfering . let me know what you think ?

Well in short terms... Is only a WARNING, because the scripts were writen based on SHVDN2(deprecated but, still functional). You will see lots of warnings from different mods, believe me, the SHVDN can be really annoying... While you just have warnings, don't need to worry....

New update
Now the Families gang backup and the Rednecks gang backup drop money.
Now the hits drop money too, and escalate if you decide to fight.
Now when you beef with the vagos, they are not the only ones to perform hits on you, randomized the hits, when you beef with a few gangs.
