My 9th convert
Replaces Asterope
Model converted from GTA SA Mod by yellow1441
v2:
- Livery support (The car comes without livery. To add the livery, replace the "VW6livery.png" inside the "ytd"-file)
I recomend to use any "white" color as the 1st paint for correct livery represantion
- New stock wheels
- Fixed Dials
- The front "VW"- Logo changed
- Livery template in the archive (4096x4096 Resolution)
- Includes "Slipknot" livery
v1:
- E-Guitar "Ibanez Jem Steve Vai Signature" in the trunk (paintable as secondary color)
- Breakable windows
- Working dials and steeringwheel
- Dirt
- Correct direction of mirror reflection
- Correct door opening
- Working lights
- Bullet impact
- Correct window tint (no tint on lights)
- Wheels don't disappear in the distance
Installation:
1. Start OpenIV
2. Go to: x64e\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf
3. Enable Edit Mode and replace the downloaded YFT/YTD files

I tried to convert "VW Golf MK 7" first, but the model has over 1 000 000 polygons, so the yft file was about 25mb, and it didnt worked in game because GTA 5 has 13,5MB YFT file limit. So here comes the VW Golf 6.

I wish i could download the old rim version(the one in many linked youtube video)... I don t like this gti rim on this stock golf. Everything else ok

am i the only one here that waits on a decent golf 6 r or golf 7 r the best volkswagen on this site is the golf 7 gti from motors garage its not a add on version but very hige quality car!
