INSTALLATION:
For FiveM:
- Download the modified weapons.meta file.
- Open OpenIV.
- Enable Edit Mode.
- Navigate to the following path:
- mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\ai
- Replace the existing weapons.meta file with the one you downloaded.
- Disable Edit Mode and close OpenIV.
- Launch GTA V and test the weapon recoil.
For Single Player (SP):
- Download the modified weapons.meta file.
- Open OpenIV.
- Enable Edit Mode.
- Navigate to the following path:
- GTAV\update\update.rpf\common\data\ai
- Replace the existing weapons.meta file with the one you downloaded.
- Disable Edit Mode and close OpenIV.
- Launch GTA V and test the weapon recoil.
CHANGELOG 1.2:
- RECOIL ADJUSTED FOR EACH WEAPON BASED ON ITS TYPE (PISTOLS, ASSAULT RIFLES, SNIPERS, ETC.).
- ADDED REALISTIC RECOIL VALUES FOR ALL IN-GAME WEAPONS, INCLUDING MODDED WEAPONS.
- SUPPRESSOR SUPPORT: 25% RECOIL REDUCTION WHEN A SUPPRESSOR IS EQUIPPED.
- PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZED FOR THE WEAPONS.META FILE TO REDUCE LOADING TIMES.
- MINOR BUG FIXES IN THE WEAPONCOMPONENTS.META FILE.
- IMPROVED STABILITY WITH SMOOTHER LOADING OF WEAPON MODIFICATIONS.
Notes:
- Make sure to back up your original weapons.meta file before replacing it, in case you want to revert back.
- Use this mod only in single-player mode to avoid sanctions in online modes.
